but mass and weight are different. Are you sure it is the weight of a chicken egg rather than the mass?

A scientific study soon to be published has found (using the latest measurements) -
that as much light exists outside of galaxies as exists inside them !
In other words- all the dark areas of the sky, the voids between galaxies are not dark after all / but filled with light.
Light carries energy through momentum not mass, therefor a box with light compared to a box without light, would weigh the same. But, how can something with no mass carry momentum? Everything we think we know isn't true.
