does anyone know what is a decent elo? I always thought it was 1000 but some people say it's easy to get that.

My personal opinion, it depends on the person. There's no set answer. For some weaker casual players, it could be as low as maybe 950. But for more advanced players, it could be upwards of 1800s. I wouldn't worry about it, though.
