Soon after I said
To thank David for setting things right, CrystalMoon locks my thread saying:
These type of threads designed to attack/berate a member along with the tone of the comments aren't acceptable on chess.com forums. Therefore I locked this thread. Further threads of this type may result in stronger actions, so please be circumspect as well as kind and respectful.
Fair enough. I accept that.
However the thread attacking another member that lead to my creation of the locked thread in the first place remains unlocked & its op unwarned. He goes on to underhandedly changed the topic title and content, as I had openly predicted. What is the message we're sending to our members?
I hope this doesn't get the president impeached ...
Yes, it's French for "are you".
You asked, "what is the message being sent?"
That is an easy one, bunny 🐰 = biased!
(no different than the one you had encountered as TK)
In french it would mean "and you" while "es tu" would be "are you". In this particular case it is Latin.
No more Shakespeare in American schools?
And I thought after zootopia every one would have changed for the better.
Change was not made for leopards 🐆 or Mods
[Removed by David]
And now he's removed the note and edited his posts here. No surprise. This is too easy. But will the mods take action or am I still the bad guy here?
More ... And he calls other people trolls. I would block him but I'd rather he convince the mods with his own actions.
Yumyum, you do realise the stuff you post never really goes away - it is only marked deleted & the mods can still find it on the page source? :-)
Nice. Ok blocked. This should be enough. Didn't expect to be blocked before you could edit over your last comment? :-). Now your gif of the horse pooping his pants makes total sense.
To prevent such underhanded behavior, I'd propose that only the last comment of a thread should be editable. Otherwise responses to a post may not make sense.
Wow, that is definitely a sign of a disturbed child 👶
Unfortunately, as far as I know, that's not true: the moderators don't have access to what was deleted. We'd like people to take screen shots, but also understand that screen shots - like quotes - can be manipulated to make it look like someone has posted something that they did not.
I have taken screen shots of these alleged posts and then removed them, but unfortunately - on its own - that is not sufficient evidence on its own to act. If you can verify that it is indeed part of a pattern of behaviour, we will act.
I have spoken to YumYumSharpTeeth about this feud in PM, and it must stop. Both sides, irrespective of whether a specific thread is or is not locked.
