so you evolutionists accept that you descended from an animal! not everyone's ready to accept that ridiculous idea, come on!
Evolution theory, fact or fantasy?

Alex-Rodriguez, I've extensively studied all of it, I'm not an uneducated "science denier". Evolution isn't science. It has never been given one scrap of evidence. There has been a $250,000+ reward out for anyone who can prove evolution, and in the last two decades that it has been out, no scientist has come close to receiving it.
i believe that adam and eve were the first humans, who evolved from apes. Adam and eve were the first to evolve into homo sapiens, because god allowed them to evolve.

If that is true, at what point did God create them in his own image? Also, if there were millennia of death before Adams sin, then the death of Christ could not have defeated sin. Keep the faith JoEvJohn, but you don't have to believe evolution.

Do you want a list of those said science deniers? I do recall posting such a list before on the Evolutionandnothingelse forum.

As a famous evolutionist put it, either there is a God, or there isn't, and both possibilities are frightening.
So you're saying the death of a GOD isn't good enough for millennia, it's only good enough for a few thousand years?
What is this, like aspirin works for a while, but after 4 hours you take some more?
The Bible is a collection of many different books written over the course of (more than 1000) years. Over time different people decided to included some while others were thrown out later (apocrypha).
Early Christians realized the first book contained a creation myth which was not to be taken literally. It was to be reflected on and gain insights about God. 6 literal days was not important.
The point is, just because one of the books isn't literal doesn't mean the whole Bible is destroyed... many Christians understand this.
Tesla-jr: Just really pleased to see how you're willing to stand up to the huge amount of opposition we scientifically minded individuals who are against evolution get.
I'm in total agreement with your views. The evidence against evolution is overwhelming and to think we came from bacteria is like the word 'the' spontaneously, over millions of years, becoming the works of Shakespeare through random letter additions and changes.
I've been called a 'science denier' as well. Some people just don't appreciate that just because we interpret the world differently to most doesn't mean we lack a rational brain.
Creation and intelligent design is far more likely as there is no other way to account for the perfect fine tuning of the universe (unless the completely unobserved multiverse rubbish counts as an explanation) and the incredible complexity of DNA. An animal's body is hundreds of times more complex than an IPhone or a Ferrari, yet how can these gadgets have a designer and humans not have one?
We aren't irrational. We aren't blinded by our beliefs. Anyone who claims that turns the conversation from scientific to personal.

There are many very intelligent Christians who agree with you. Personally though if you believe God used evolution to create us you have to start picking and choosing the parts of the Bible you take to be literal, you have to say for example the bible is wrong about the age of the earth.
I'm more comfortable with taking it to be true to be honest.

One definition of hell might be arguing with fundamentalist Christians on internet forums for eternity

im in the darwin camp here , i guess part of this is down to my frustration caused by fundamentalists in america who will not be swayed from the bibles view god did it all in 6 days , but mainly because its a sensible theory that reflects how our species has come about
the other stuff re moon landings i glanced at but thats a totally different subject
i aint scholarly so many of thepoints you askrd to be answered are above my ability to give knowledgeable reply
DARWINS THEORY OF EVOLUTION YES BIBLES CREATION MYTH NO
It's easy to imagine bacteria as the first life forms as long as you can also imagine billions of years.
Too bad it's impossible to grasp that kind of time span.
However the ability to imagine something isn't a test of proof in any case. I.e. argument from personal incredulity is meaningless.
