I do not come for the defence of the individual involved. I just pose the idea that this is not the way to get what you aim for. Most people have a reason for the behaviour they display, including why they wish to hide themselves. Take that into account. I sometimes use a name that is not my own to limit the possibilities of being personally targeted. I think that a more generalized discussion would have been a more effective way to get what you want.

I'm sure people have reasons for their behaviour, and it is not always obvious or apparently rational. And when someone is setting out to deliberately deceive those around them, it may not be wise to believe what they tell you after they have been caught out.
This thread was prompted by one individual in particular, who has conspicuously declined to come here and publicly discuss their actions. That is their pregogative, but in the absence of any feeback it seems reasonable to speculate about their true motives.

You force a defensive role onto someone in a public domain, setting the tone of overtly criticizing and condemning before making any effort to understand what is going on. And you seriously expect response under those circumstances?
