I don't find rap to be particularly interesting. Same with pop: it's all so basic and boring! Yeah, the lyrics are deep, but the musical complexity is minimal at best. I wish it was the good old days when Metallica and heavy metal ruled the world.

I'm a millennial. An interesting thing happened in Download festival UK.

The millennials were listening to Korn. Came back, and had to walk through the My Chemical Romance fans (emo kids). They got a bottling (where we throw bottles at them).

Many people/singers/bands throughout the noughties and teens (00's and 10's) got a good bottling in England.

Millennials ain't emos. That's the zoomers.

I don't really have a favourite.

Sex pistols maybe.

They seriously changed entire English life. How often can you say that about a music performer?

Here's them having a go at American ""hippies"" lol

I can't listen to punk, I just associate it with posh people for some reason.

Some other decent fellow deleted his chat, so I shall address you instead (alt basement, so dreary this).

The upper-middle class have taken over media this century. Gold star for realizing that, and being somewhat self-aware of where we are.

Here's an Australian punk classic for the Aussie gent who had a quick chat.
