The Black Mages cover was better then the original FF music

The Final Fantasy series might have done more than any other game to get women playing videogames.

And not really trying to either. They're just great games that anyone can enjoy.

I played 14 for a bit, and it's completely online. It's decent enough. Fighting Ifrit or Leviathan with a bunch of other people was a lot of fun and seeing the GF's brought to life in that way.

9 might be my favourite of the soundtracks. Never heard a bad one though.

Nah. I know it's the live band.

I gravitate towards the piano collections, because I really like the instrument.

Same with classical music. I tend to go towards piano and violin sonatas.

Piano covers are good. Nobuo Uemastu made some himself. I don't think he ever plans to stop covering his own songs lol.

Thought he had retired. 14 was done by someone else, with no noticeable drop in quality.

Did he retire recently? The FF VII remake soundtrack is from 2020 and he made a lot of those songs

Pretty sure that he didn't do 12 or 14. Nice touch if he's doing the remakes.

He did like 80% of the remake soundtrack

Just looking into it. Not sure if he officially retired, but he didn't do game 13 either. Probably at this stage in his career, he can do whatever he wants.

Guy deserves a break tbh. Been remarkably consistent for decades. And the new stuff is surprisingly good.

How old is he anyways

In his 60's. Guy who did 14 did a fantastic job. Not sure about that other one with the Noctis character.
