feeding your cat

I mostly think that. And Sheba is well regarded. But some don't like that it contains "meat by-products". Like, what kind of meat exactly? Road kill? Euthanized pets? Both are legal. And this is kind of a hot topic on Reddit right now.
Get rid of the dry cat food, sure. But then what?
I inherited a cat. Stopped the dry cat food (kibble) and am now trying different wet food, starting with raw, human grade chicken, turkey and fish in little pouches delivered frozen from Small's... expensive and the cat preferred my other pick, Sheba, available at supermarkets and much cheaper.
