"Five nights at Freddies" is a horror game where you look through a series of cameras.
90's/00's kids may remember the game "night trap" which created the type (and apparently was the game that made video games get rated the same as adult films). Although I only ever knew one person who has had a sega cd - seems very rare.
The most subscribed person on youtube early on was a guy called the angry video game nerd. Funny guy. I'll put his sega cd video below. The idea there was that he was drunk and angry about getting ripped off on bad games from the 80's and 90's.
When five nights at freddies came out, an unknown guy called pewdiepie did a playthrough which a lot of people enjoyed. Mostly a much younger audience of people between 8 and 14 years old - and he subsequently did well for himself among that demographic. Obviously went on to grow his fanbase to becoming the most popular game content on that platform.
