The third law describes an “action” as an amount of force in a certain direction. In your example, the “action” is your feet pressing against the ground. The “opposite reaction” in this case is the equal force against your legs caused by the ground. As such, motion is possible and allowed.

As such, if you punch a wall, the force of that punch is returned to your fist. If you can punch a wall and destroy it, an equal force is returned to your body, and as such, it stands to reason you can resist a punch of the same caliber, as you’ve just resisted that same amount of force.

Htp is right, if hit physically the damage is done to the attacker. But there are other ways to defeat him... maybe a Killing Curse? The Force? Zero-Point Energy?
