Flirting on chess.com :)

Hello my fellow chess players. I have played a lot of games and played against a lot of players on here and there is one thing I have noticed. In many groups on here that I am in, there is quite a large amount of flirting between players sometimes :). Especially when there are other people talking to the ones they like. So, they show off sometimes to get attention and to get the ones they like to stay with them :).

I myself am a flirt at times :D. It is not harmful if I keep it at small amounts and nothing too extreme.

Tell me your ideas of flirting on chess.com and of the effect it has sometimes. Negative and positive effects. I find it kind of cute the way players flirt on here and sometimes those players meet and fall in love :).

Oh great!  Now the OP thinks this is a Free Version (Premium Status Optional) of Match.com.  Or are you the next Neil Clark Warren and you are going to match the people, making this "FreeEHarmony.com"?

Um no. No I am not. Please don't make smart comments like that. I was making this forum as a joke and something funny to talk about. Don't make me out to be someone starting something when I am just trying to be funny.

Oh, so you are the 16-year old that Podunk Police hired to try to catch people for cyber crimes!  Got it!  Check!  LOL!

I happen to be 20 years old mate and you are the troll that legolas forgot to shoot with an arrow back in the Return of the King LOL! CHECKMATE!

ThrillerFan

No idea what Return of the King is - I've heard of Return of the Jedi.  (BTW - Star Wars Sux!)

Either way, 16, 20, doesn't matter.  I'm twice as old, twice as wise, twice your rating, and I'd be the only one shouting "CHECKMATE" between us two!

JohnPointer

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! Ohhhhhhhhh! He got him! He got him! Ohhhhhhhhhh!

Lmao

... but you are also at least two times more rude and arrogant Laughing

No problem, Legolas. But I suppose you must wait to be sure (as far as this is possible) of your acquaintance being who/what he/she claims to be.

It's the last book in Tolkien's trilogy "The Lord of the Rings". About 10 years ago a blockbuster movie was made on the basis of it.

That explains why I don't know it - Never have and Never will have even a remote amount of interest in Lord of the Rings.

Tolkien's heirs will pass without you, no worries.

No - I don't!  The Fantasy Genre Sucks!  Horror, Thriller, Bizarro - anything else sux!

datfreshmandude

I loved the LOTR books but the movies seemed to be to be long and drawn out.

shakedaspear

I enjoyed the extended version of LOTR films more than the theatrical versions. I enjoyed the films *as stories* more than the books but Tolkien's accomplishment is a miracle of imagination.
