Flowing story word game

Each line submitted contains two persons (incl animals once in a while, lol). There is an action done. Subsequent lines require taking one person and making an action to another person (or, but suggest less often unless gets really juicy, some back and forth action happens in reversing the same two persons).

Sally cooked Harry a pie.

Harry ate the pie and let Rufus the dog lick his plate.

Rufus barked at mailman Pete.

Pete delivered a letter to Mrs. Hanley.

Mrs. Hanley sat on Pete. 

omg what's up with the sitting???

Pete gasped and yelled to get off. He then proceeded to talk to his neighbor, Jim.

Jim told Pete that he owed him money. 

Pete punched Jim in the face. 

Jim ran to his shed and got a shovel. He said to Pete, "do you like the taste of steel"?

Pete runs into his house and grabs his shotgun. “Yes I do!”, he replies to Jim. 

Mrs. Hanley called the Fuzz. Officer Snorkle gets out of his car.

While Officer Snorkel gets out of his car, Pete shoots him in the chest. 

(Is this getting too violent? If so, I can change the last action).

Officer Snorkel arrests Pete. 

Pete gets thrown into the slammer. Pete calls up Lawyer Ari.

Lawyer Ari attempts to sue Jim.
