I have been wondering what these mean. Does GM mean "grand master"?

Gm means Grand master, FM mean FIDE Master

Faster is just

GM = grand master
IM = international master
FM = FIDE master
NM = national master
CM = candidate master
LM = lichess master, doubtful you'll encounter one lol
