Defeat is not a downfall but it is an option of learning where you push yourself in leveling up your move to the possible move of excellence.''learn from your opponent!?''.learn from your mistake!,will make you improve, push your level up and get into the top.

Failure: When your best, just isn't good enough.

We all fail - at chess and life no one wins all the time.

Some are more gifted than others - some work harder than others and this depends on lifes priorities.

Chess is an intellectual activity - it occupies and develops the mind - we should learn and improve. We don't learn much from our wins - unless we have had a narrow escape - but we learn tricks and skills from our losses.

So I agree that defeat is not a tragedy -except for the games I have lost to Ramil027 - and a defeat is only a failure if we become embittered.
