Remember when you had to research something, you actually had to go to the library and dig around in encyclopedias?
Yes. I also remember encyclopedia salesmen. And using the library; I remember it being a big deal to learn the Dewey decimal system. The school librarian took it very seriously and gave a presentation on it and why it’s historically important.

Yup. We bought stamps in grade school to fill our little books then, when filled, we converted them to US Bonds.
