At the 2012 World Junior Championship, Canada was represented by Eric Hansen, Michael Kleinman, Shiyam Thavandiran, Aman Hambleton and Kevin Wu.

According to http://chess.ca/node/547#Junior, Shiyam was also the 2005 and 2010 Junior Champion; this list is in fact a copy of his biography from http://chess.ca/thavandiran-shiyam

i'm trying to prove that canadian chess players can acclomplish more than what other chess pro believe, plus being in a family who taught me to play chess, i would never descreate a chess grandmaster noverless a canadian one
