I'm also aware that when my daughter was born I thought that there must be more to the world than nature because nature couldn't hope to create something as truly amazing as a human being .

As for personal . Well as long as your comfortable. So many comments on these forums about the existence of God but virtually none about the experience of God .
I'd have thought that those that have experienced God would love to share such a beautiful thing . I'm just interested in people really . I'm a kind person . I won't be mean .

This is the only other thread I have I'm interested in . But I don't want to talk here I want to listen . I'd like to know how it feels for you religious guys to know God . I'm not talking about religious texts . Personal experience of God . It's not a debate either . I'd just like to hear it . I can't complain if the thread gets locked but not one religious guy has posted an experience .

Anyway the invitation is there and I'll read if you'd like to share .
We humans make all kinds of experiences, some of which we simply don't know the source. Attributing them to an entity called "god" doesn't provide any kind of explanation (it just opens up more questions than you had earlier).
As far as I am concerned, "god" experiences are a matter of brain chemistry, neuroscience. If you want to improve your chances of experiecing god, try LSD or magic mushrooms. Or have parts of your brain stimulated with electrodes, maybe even to the extend of causing a seizure.

i could answer, but bearing in mind this is a primarily atheist website i'm assuming the thread is about making fun of stuff you don't believe in.

Have you personally experienced God? If so I'm curious to hear about it .I myself am certain that all that exists is the natural world and yet I see here that a lot of people are absolutely convinced God exists and I was curious why. So if you have experienced God and you'd like an invitation to share your experience then please go right ahead . Thank you . Oh by the way I'm not talking about reading a religious text . I mean actually experiencing God .
