How do I get good at graphic design? Should I use Canva or pixlr, and what tips and tricks are there to make a new image, like a profile, from scratch?

I couold explain a lot but nvm

I self taught myself. I have good background knowledge in visual arts so experiment with different programs and use different colours with each other.

@ryanchen100, any tips? How did you make the VCC image, for example?

Think of the main color of your design, in this case (VCC logo), blue. Now the theme (Vote Chess Clan) so I used the vote chess symbol to represent VCC. I like to use one other color that would fit with the design. I like blue and yellow together a lot so I used yellow. The font is important. It can't be too crazy. Something simple should do to incorporate the design. I would start with Canva. It gives you templates to start off and you can customize it.

How to make a profile?

chose a background.

type in your username (With a font that isn’t to complicated you can’t read it well) (and a color that stands out from the background,if you can’t, use a effect,like background or shadow)

add things around it that represent you

Use color theory too

Canva is good.
