Gravity Wins Again and it's not a chess game . . .
Oops . . . Ended at the Kaiser Hospital urgent center on Thursday . . .
Gravity did it again. I tripped of the brick stairs returning from some shopping. As i fell I could see the bricks where I was going to land on with my face..
It was like in slow motion but I could sense my face was going to hit the edge of the bricks.. I LET GO OF MY GROCERIES. I put out my hands to protect my face.
In slow motion falling I finally my hands hit the bricks.
I saved my face but my hands were cut by the bricks. I tried to get up but couldn't do it. My hands were full of dripping blood.
I sort of pushed myself so I could use the hand rail but couldn't pull myself up. Cell phone was in the car. No neighbors around so I just laid there for several minutes.
I finally got up and the blood was streaming from my left ring finger. It was also coming out of my right thumb.
I went to the bath room and soaked both hands. I tried to put bandages but the tip of the left ring finger was gone.
I ended up at Kaiser hospital urgent. It too half an hour and they put bandages of the finger. I have to return on Sunday to have the finger checked.
The pain was intense and it is minor now..
I think I better get a handrail and maybe a ramp.

Kaiser Urgent Care said the healing might be 4 weeks. Don't get it wet!
There is no pain but the finger is throbbing, I hope the tip comes back.
Every time they give me the tweezers and scissors they use because they have to chuck them.
