people leaving due to mismanagement has been happening already. the problem is that each valued individual that leaves is then "replaced" by 100 kids, some of whom have paid accounts from their parents. 

so, while your theory makes sense, reality is the bottom line both you and jamie reference. it's quantity over quality.

Sadly you're correct on this. Emails like this tend to get forwarded to support. Erik, even going back too 2012 used to log in too over 200 emails in his inbox, I dread to think how many he gets now. He delegates, part and parcel of being CEO with staff to handle certain queries and complaints.  Jamie has had a rough lockdown year both on and offline, and had said not long ago she'd had enough and was going to close her own account. From what she said, it was a multitude of things. 

If I was in Jamie's shoes I'd be tempted to close my own account and join another site.

   I was angry when I got muted but after talking to Kohai she said...."just take a break"  I did for about 6 months. I don't want to see Jamie gone but a vacation helps anybody.

She's not active on the site and you make it look like a full-on dirt nap. 

   Well it IS the "Dead Forum Files"  When her mute has been lifted, we can call it a miracle.

    I wanted to post this in my "Can Someone Make Sense Of This?" thread but I hit my 5 post limit....   So, I'm watching Ancient Aliens                                       
       and I find out that they have captured Bigfoot..  Turns out he's quite a good Chess player.  The're holding him for ransom. They want $5 million dollars from Chess.com, and they want it in Bitcoin. Not only that, but they want ME to bring them the money from Erik. So I've only got 1 question for Mr Albest

   Al..... I know it "seems" like a few weeks ago but, actually there's been 12 episodes and 13 will be the finale. Many yrs ago a standard run would be 22 episodes.....I'm going back to the 70's.  Hollywood wants quicker results.....if you don't have viewer-ship in 12 weeks,....you don't get renewed. Katy Segal had a new show about Erin Brockovich called "Rebel". It got cancelled after 7 episodes...  After their 1 season, the "X-Files" was questionable...... but then it took off for another 9 seasons.

At present Ron I would not work for chess.com for all the tea in China. So many of the mods and staff are idiots! I do not include you in that statement Martin.

  I'm looking at the T.V line-up.....you know, the big list that tells you what's on TV.
