When your opponent has no legal moves, it's a draw. Be careful when closing in with a mating net to leave your opponent a move.

first of all I love chess and Chess.com..
I've only been playing a short while and am still learning..
it is my only way to play as it is difficult to find people to play..however I had something happen that I could not understand and wondered if anyone can put some light on this..
I was playing an opponent and we have both plenty of time on the clocks...I had just promoted my pawn to Queen and my opponent still had material and then suddenly it said DRAW..so game was over..I thought that only happened when there was so little material (pieces ) on the board ..did i do something wrong.?.please enlighten..thanks for reading
