Here is How I Make My Chess Edits and GIF Profile Pictures!

First, I open Davinci Resolve then I open a new project. I import my clips into the timeline and import the audio of my choice (ex. MONTAGEM LADRAO) or if I am doing a gif profile pic i dont do any audio. Then I mark the beats on the song and edit my clips on the timeline. It may be hard to learn Davinci at first but you will get use to it. (You could also use VN Video Editor if you are on mobile)

Then after I am finished editing my clips and adding transitions and keyframes i go to the fusion tab where i add my effects.

After I am done with that I sometimes go into the color page to tweak a few things but i rarely do so as i do it in the fusion page

And then I export by going to the Rendering tab/Export Tab and selecting my preferences for the edit

And yeah, that's about it. It was easy for me to learn by doing tutorials and experimenting by myself. If you were wondering how i edit my GIF Profile Pictures then thats how i do it.

You add your audio track and then use key markers for beats what will be transitions? How are you filling in the space in between the markers?

Sometimes with audio transitions and i use the built in video transitions Davinci has

@midnight the marker is the transition point. Between markers are you just adding still images or videos? If it’s a video, how are you controlling the length (does it automatically adjust speed to fill the gap to the next marker?

No i cut the footage to how i want it on the marker or before the marker.

So the clip has to be the exact length or longer and then you trim the excess. Got it.
