I will not make light of this comment, because i think it brings up a great point.  Does doing something illegal to feed your starving family make it right?  Im not saying you go our and kill someone, but is it possible to "justify" a crime to feed your family?

Tbh, my view on piracy is socially motivated, and I do see it's necessity and purpose; for long time price of digital goods was and still modelled by developed countries, and then software or publishing giants wonder about extraordinary piracy rates in some countries. Now it is less of the problem thanks to subscription models, yet even 10 years ago you'd facing paying daily wages for something what in different country would be equivalent of an hour of work. The very existence of second "bloodstream" is useful to official market.
