How many languages can You Speak?

If you folks ever come to the United States, you'll find that most Americans barely speak English.
Translation for my fellow countrymen:

Hello, interesting topic, I read in New in chess that chessplayers speak many languages, there was also about Garry Kasparov something about this.
I speak:
English, German, Slovak, Czech, Russian, French these de facto fluently, almost each theme, then Latin, Hebrew, I understand each Slavic language, especially Polish for example.
I have gift of Tongues:
Hebrew, Arabian, Italian after talking with one our chesspayer about languages and lessons, Hungarian after correspondence with one Hungarian chessplayer, some Chinesse or Japanesse or what and some many other Tongues, any Tongues I hear I get from any missionars within Carlos Annacondia. I have Hebrew and French pronaunciation when I read native...ask gifts and do not sin then you will get them....really fun to sing in Tongues.

I can speak Arabian, and enough German, Italian, and French to get around. as well as my native American English as I know there are two kinds

How many "characters" are we talkning about here?
I don't know firsthand, but nobody answered, so I'll just say what I know: I've been told it takes about 2.000 (two thousand) characters, to be able to read a chinese newspaper. Not to speak of literature...

I meant that I have trouble speaking Spanish (I tend to use Hebrew prepositions without meaning to) but I can understand a fair amount, both written and spoken.
