BUMP = Bring Up My Post
It's a way to move a post up by doing something as simple and pointless as posting the one word comment, "bump." It moves a post up on social media to make it more visible by adding a meaningless comment to the post's commentary thread.
points are earned by using the site. The more messages you send and recieve to/from other members, the more points you get...they are meaningless so dont worry about them !
