Honestly it depends on your situation. Like your age.. occupation (if you have any) or the environment youre in right now. Expressing love is kinda complicated cuz theres a lot to consider. You wanna date this person?

For love, we will climb mountains, cross seas, traverse desert sands, and endure untold hardships. Without love, mountains become unclimbable, seas uncrossable, deserts unbearable, and hardships our lot in life. The person who is "in-love" has the ilusion that his beloved is perfect.

From the book you recommended 😅❤️

Real love" - "This kind of love is emotional in nature but not obsessional. It is a love that unites reason and emotion. It involves an act of the will and requires discipline, and it recognizes the need for personal growth.

You know K, the problem is, the “reason” part is missing in me
breezehappysquirrel
But, neither the obsession. I simply am emotion lol
breezehappysquirrel
So someone should write a new book taking all this into consideration; could it be you, K?
breezehappysquirrel
Btw I received 3 DMs asking if it was them. Sorry. LOL 😂

Love is something you do for someone else, not something you do for yourself.

This is so nice K. He seems to be a good man. If he can write all this. For general reading itself it’s good I guess

Respect begins with this attitude: "I acknowledge that you are a creature of extreme worth.

God has endowed you with certain abilities and emotions.

Therefore I respect you as a person. I will not desecrate your worth by making critical remarks about your intellect, your judgment or your logic.

I will seek to understand you and grant you the freedom to think differently from the way I think and to experience emotions that I may not experience."

Respect means that you give the other person the freedom to be an individual.

But I’m being questioned about my intellect and logic all the time

For the curious cats who keep asking who who who - let me just tell you this -

HE’s Not anyone from this OTF

He never participated here

He’s the quietest.
If he walks right in front of you even you would miss. That quiet. But what a presence. I love him. Only That much I can say.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height

My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.

I love thee to the level of every day’s

Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.

I love thee freely, as men strive for right.

I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.

I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,

Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,

I shall but love thee better after death.

I can't stand the rain against my window
Bringing back sweet memories

I can't stand the rain 'gainst my window
'Cause he's not here with me

Hey window pain do you remember
How sweet it used to be
When we were together
Everything was so grand, yes it was
Now that we've parted

And there's one sound that I just can't stand
I can't stand the rain against my window
Bringing back sweet memories
I can't stand the rain
Alone with the pillow

Where his head used to lay, yeah
I know you've got some sweet memories
But like a window you ain't got nothin' to say
I can't stand the rain against my window
Bringing back sweet memories, hey

I can't stand the rain, ooh
Against my window, oh-no-no
'Cause he's not here with me, uh
Alone with the pillow, uh-uh
Where his head used to lay, yeah
I know you've got some sweet memories
But like a window
You ain't got nothin' to say, hey-hey
Uh-uh

I have other nice resources like books, but yeah he does seem to be a good man and that authenticity of character is probably one reason his books were so well received. His first book on the love languages sold over 11 million copies in English and has been translated into 49 other languages!

I wouldn't say it is my favorite book, but I recommended this one here because the book is easy to read and offers good practical advice people can apply to their lives.

Sounds a great read actually 👍
