Anybody here use smelling salts, have someone slap them in the face, or do something similar before lifting heavy to get amped up and lift more weight? I think the most effective option is to play blitz or bullet on chess.com and then start lifting. When you have enough pent up rage that you want to throw your phone into the wall, you can put your phone down, grab the bar, and get ready to set new personal bests. If you win too much then this might not work that well for you
