Looking at your ratings, I would say that you don't always lose. Even if you are losing a lot it will swing back and you will win again.

You will. I like to play a lot of crazyhouse and I have swings in that. I have lost over two hundred points in a down swing, but I went back up after a time.
When I play I win 1/3 games
Hmmmm, do you mainly play one sort of chess or do you play all sorts? If you play all of them about equally you won't be as good in all of them as if you mainly just played one sort. I'm not saying you should only play one sort, but that you just won't be as good as if you only played one sort.

Will, I do not want to be a pushy busybody, but when I played as a junior in my former(?) local club, our coach forbade us to play blitz and chess variants saying: "You must learn to play normal chess first". Then, he had a minor national title, now he is an IM.

Once I was 1408 and then it went down to 1370. I worked hard and I got it up to 1431. If I can do it, so can you!
