I have a question...Six Sigma seems like a bad project management methodology choice for Big Tech companies, given that is centered around defect reduction.  Sure, it's fine for keeping airplanes in the air and for making assembly lines 0.005% more efficient, but why would anybody ever use it for software or hardware development?

How to save your child who is about to get killed by a murderer with a knife if you are standing 20 feets away from him. Do you know any ninja technique for this?

Do you appear in this video?

Hmmm...was the OP edited after the fact?  I guess the point is moot...I should have figured that nobody would have heard of Six Sigma black belt certification here wink.png.

Okay, scenario.....you're in a small room, say a workshop, and suddenly a man with a knife kicks in the door and says he is going to kill you. What do you do?

Hehehehehe2024

Keeping in mind you don't have much room to maneuver.

It’s not and never was.

How about a good old fashioned throat punch?

Talk him down. Keep him talking. If I can’t talk him down, I would then attempt to make him as mad as possible. Get him to strike when I want him to attack. The defense completely depends upon the attack. Assuming I cannot get a weapon of any kind, Again, is it confined or is there room to move? Is the knife held in the pick or poke position?  Overhand strikes, pokes, slashing, they all require a different response.

Confined, poke position, available weapons are anything on the workbench. as far as strikes go, stabbing.

And a good thing too.  Nobody needs to hear DMAIC when they're designing an IC with a DMA.

What is the fastest way to learn to be able to defend yourself? I don't really want to go too in depth and have too much commitment. I just want to be able to defend myself when needed.
