i hate this %$#&ing game

I can't seem to get beyond 1375. I get to 1450 then just lose like ten in a row. I play 30 min games with fairly solid openings then somehow get losing positions. so frustrated...I watch videos all the time to try and improve and have read a couple books. I think I need more confidence from opening to middlegame???

chess is hard.

my advice is to study end game. opening isnt chess, just memmory. end games is where losing games are won. thats my un-professional advice.

   Well if you take 1375 and add 1450, then divide by 2, your actual rating would be 1412.

I looked at a few of your games. You need to work on tactics. As long as you keep making tactical mistakes and not recognizing your opponents threats you will not improve. From what I saw your opening play is decent enough for now but you throw away games tactically.
