Dr, I agree with you that it looks painful today but lets remember we were all much younger when what Shatner did,....past for television.

My two most favorite TOS episodes were the one with the Gorn and the episode which featured William Windom fighting the Doomsday planet killer.

--- Then we add " The Arena " ( the Gorn ) and " The Doomsday Machine " ( William Windom ) and that is 14 total, we still have room for 6 more to make the best 20 episodes lol.

Doctor I am truly shocked ! Those of us old-timers who saw TOS of Star Trek years ago during the first run of the TV series will tell you there were no bad episodes. There were only good episodes and of course some very good episodes. Now where is my Phaser so I can give you a big zap thru this computer system lol.

Well, there were a couple of real stinkers! I remember after being part of the letter-writing campaign to get the third season of TOS, I was greeted with "Spocks Brain." :'(
And the one about the space hippies was not so good either.

The space hippies episode is possibly one of the worst episodes in the history of TV.
Well as for me I liked everyone in the cast of TOS of Star Trek. On the other hand if I had to pick a favorite I guess I would go with Doctor McCoy, he could be rather abrupt and also grumpy just like me lol.
