I think that a self expression thread is fine so long as the moderators are accepting of such. Mostly these topics are really.

It's about entertainment off topic rather than dealing with problems or making suggestions. Most topics here are silly really.

I suppose the mods could be rigid and say there has to be a subject. It's not just mine that doesn't. Though it's true I guess I post much more frequently than the other OPs.

A friend of mine here talked about that beautiful Shakespeare sonnet of true love lasting forever.

I hold that to be the case. That if you truly love someone you always will. That's beautiful to me.

Tell you what though it's a mixed blessing. I think of those I love I can't be with and I feel those wonderful feelings again and I remember the beauty but there's an awareness too of what I'm missing. I can't see my Florence. Those that can are blessed.

I have this friend. Offline. I say friend. I can't tell really. I think for me at least a friend is someone that arranges to meet you.

No one arranges to meet me. I had an offer from an older guy to go drinking with him. He's good company actually.

Maybe there's something wrong with me but I can't imagine going out socialising with a guy. I just don't find it stimulating enough.

I don't think so. I think the truth is I want to spend my time with attractive ladies.

Don't get me wrong I like spending time with guys and also ladies I'm not attracted to, few exist, but generally I want to spend my time with a pretty lady.

I don't know if that's uncommon. I'd be happy to games with guys though. Like play sports or cards or chess but just sit and talk for hours. No!

I had a really poor relationship with my father. Maybe that's why.

But then I should like to spend time with ladies I'm not attracted to. I don't know.

Maybe I'm just too obsessed with how attractive women are. A one track mind. I can't be saved.
