Yes, I agree with Peskybird_flies. Do absolutely nothing. As someone who left middle school a few years ago let me tell you that 99% of relationships not only end in 2 weeks at best and also ruin your relationship with the other person for a long time.

The previous advice is pretty good but not very detailed so let me give you a good detailed explanation on what you should do. (Btw my methods have been tested by yours truly and do work)

Now I don’t know who you are to each other but really it doesn’t matter. You got a girls interest. That’s the hardest part (debatable)This school year/ next year is the time to reach these three main goals.
1. Get to know this person to where there’s no fear of social pressure with you knowing her (this would look like being casual friends at first if done right but slowly develop as you two get more comfortable)
2. Learn what you like and value about her to see if you really want to be with this person. -Liking someone is not the same as being soulmates with them or smth so see how important they are to you and if they bring out a better side of you
3. Obtain an overall focus on confidence not commitment - now please to all whom read this look at this next part carefully. Commitment needs confidence. And sometimes weak commitments break your confidence so it’s important to put all specs to this stat as having a higher confidence in something generally shows that you’re capable of achieving something more reliably.
In short confidence protects and prepares you. When the time is right that confidence will power a strong and healthy commitment not the other way around.
