I need help on math homework. Anybody who can help?

k+3 is actually (k+3) ... I know I typed the same thing twice, but maybe that will help you visualize it.
If you have
(k+3) / k
You can't cross off the k from top and bottom. You have to do the whole thing (k+3) or none of it.

K+2 cannot cancel with a k. It needs another k+2. If there is a plus or minus you must cancel all of it.

I think he canceled the k+2 on one side with the k+2 on the other though, so that's ok.

A wise man sees one thing but understands two

You already have the pictures, might as well send them to ChatGPT lol
If the homework is worth 20% of the grade, and the test is worth 80%...

I tried before but chatgpt sucks at math
By the way, it's ok if the answer isn't super simple. If you still have (x+3) in the final answer that doesn't mean it's wrong... but if you can get rid of it, then it won't be in the answer of course... just making sure you know it's ok.
