I need some feedback -Define

I have been trying to improve my poetry lately, and I just wrote this draft. I want you guys to give me literally any feedback, whether you are a writer or just a reader. Thanks! Here's the draft:

A Friend Long Gone.

A walk around the park

Once full of playful screams and laugher

Now empty, like a ghost town.

A walk past the old house

Where you spent most of you time

On every day your parents would allow it.

You long for the times where

The nostalgia wasn't nostalgia

Where instead, it was the present

And you couldn't wait to play.

Instead, you stand here

Doing nothing about it

You make no move to get it back

All you do is stand here

Waiting, for a friend long gone.

no rhyme 0/10 (jk)

it's really good actually, showing some emotion and also making it relatable.

but it's always satisfying to read a rhyme, may just be me tho

It’s quite nice, its very unique, too, not that it’s a bad thing.

Poetry needn’t always rhyme. Great emotion, it’s easy to visualize. My one suggestion would be to use a few stronger word choices, but that’s just because I tend toward the more verbose. Great work!
