If infinity Is NOT A Number...As You All Claim!?
You a Ma'am?
I thought that you were not Reasonable enough to be A Ma'am!
Updated!
I know it is so.
But is so, because 0/0 is Indeterminate, not just undefined as 1/0 is.
Then how come if 1 is a real number and 0 is a real number; The two very most important numbers in Mathematics;
Then Why is
The Absolute Value of (1/0)=[1/0] Really Infinity!
And Negative 1, times The Absolute Value of (1/0)=-[1/0] is Negative Infinity??!
Dispute this One, Patsers!
Thanks, for not correcting my spelling of "Patzers" my friend.
That was Classy.
And I play plenty games on Chess.com, with http://chess.com/play/computer
No point in testing your Chess theories out on "Baddies."

0 isn't a real number. It's just that often, mathematicians pretend it is because it helps them to see everything in a nice and orderly manner, instead of all real and confusing like things really are. Infinity isn't a number at all but an abstract concept.
Elroch thinks that mathematicians rule the universe. I think that the universe rules mathematicians. I've been in an argument with @Elroch about infinity. He's a mathematician and mathematicians can use abstract concepts as mathematical tools without any necessity to understand that concept philosophically or whatever.
Furthermore, I would argue that whenever you use abstract concepts in maths (such as infinity and even such as zero) then the interpretation of what you're doing is dualistic, which basically means ambiguous.
So on one hand you might imagine that it would take an infinity of zeros (and then some) all multiplied together, to produce 1. But I don't buy that.
The reason I don't buy it is that if I divide 1 by zero, then let's say I have a loaf of bread and I divide it by nothing. Well, actually if I divide a loaf of bread by nothing, I don't divide it. Just the same as if I give you nothing then I don't give you anything. There's no giving at all and in the mathematical thing, there's no dividing at all.
Now, my subject's philosophy and that means I can tie any mathematician in knots if they think along lines that are considered "standard".
well I just had a couple of pints, a large indian meal and a very long walk with my wife to the restaurant and back, so it helps the neurons flow where they will .... I didn't do it on purpose.

Discuss this, The OP. Or don't post, Freaks!
