Wow lol
If you have ever looked after a child, what’s something really weird they did?

bro today a classmate charged at another with a compass in hand ready to stab him (ofc it was a joke but that dude acts like a 5 year old)

That information would've been helpful, I agree. That's a pretty funny story.
I was supposed to look after my brother and sister while my parents were away for a few hours. By "looking after", I always considered it "enjoy yourself on OTF for a few hours". My brother put a metal plate thingie in the microwave and from that day on, I kept a bit of an eye on them and banned the microwave. Oh well.

Ah well, I suppose it has come to this
btw until a few weeks back i didn't know why metal doesn't go in the microwave lol

Bro #7 the same thing happened to me, but it was a pencil and I got stabbed... Kids these days.
oof
If that dummy actually went too agressive i'd just make quick work of him. 6"0 against 5"0 ezzzz

I babysat this little girl last week, she was about six years old. Before her mother left, she told me that if her daughter was acting out, don’t give her any chocolate after dinner. I’m like ok sure and then she leaves. Let’s call the girl Aubreigh (not her real name). So the evening goes ok. Aubreigh and I play puzzle games, read books and I let her watch a few minutes of a movie while I get her dinner sorted. Then I tell her ‘hey, food’s ready, come and sit down.’ She refuses to move and is practically glued to the tv. I try EVERYTHING. Negotiating, gently explaining, etc. Nothing ‘friendly’ is working so I just turn it off like I would do if it was my younger sibling I was watching. Well Aubreigh totally freaks out. She starts throwing things, screaming and yelling and jumping on the furniture. At one point I had to pull a chair out of her hands bc she was about to throw it. (Idk how, she’s unusually strong for a 6yo) Then she just stops, sits down on the floor, and takes a deep breath. She looks at me and says calmly; ‘turn it back on.’ I say firmly; ‘Aubreigh, you need to eat now. Your food is getting cold, and you’ll be hungry later.’ Now is NOT the time to mention she isn’t getting a chocolate. She looks at me and says; ‘Then I’ll throw up all over the floor.’ I’m like uh.. excuse me what and she repeats it. I tell her again that she needs to eat now at the table. She shoves two fingers down her throat and starts gagging. I grab her hand, pull it out of her mouth, and call her mother. Turns out Aubreigh has diagnosed autism and behaviour problems. Would have been nice to know that beforehand, I could have used that information.
Can the parents discipline her
