at the end of the (as has been scientifically proven) the sounds that humans find pleasant is based on the person and culture. But I personally don’t like pop because of how it’s made. The genre is pretty low quality and the songs focus on a catchy tune more than anything. There are no complex rhythms, no surprising sounds, pop songs are very predictable

that’s one of the reasons I like hyper pop so much, because it removes the predictability and repetition of regular pop while still remaining the good parts of pop
