u cried cause u wanted santa to be real. santa brought a feeling of happines,s magic, or wtvr that was for u. everyone will find out eventually and no matter when, it still wont be happy, so just let them keep it for as long as possible yk

what. i dont think many ppl treat santa not being real as their parents lying to them since their parents wereo nly trying to give them a good childhood
That's half the problem, it is disguised as good, but can actually be harmful, regardless, when we try to tell them about gravity "This is just another santa thing huh?"

Because it ruins their sense of reality.
their sense of reality as in believing in magic? as in believing someone would always care for u and someone was always watching so u should be as kind and good as possible?
believing someone cares for you and is always watching you and finding that wrong would be devastating.
its sad but the happiness and magic every year before that arguably makes up for it
No it doesn't in philipians 4:8 it says what to think about, one of the qualifications is true, have kids find joy in true things. If you are happy every christmas because santa, and find out he is fake, whats the point now?
life is more than just santa and the love leading to the idea of santa is still very real
and that love cannot be expressed in any better way.
