These data centers are going to be so smart they'll figure a way out of the wild fires. Besides there won't even be any trees left to burn where they build them.

Yeah that’s bad. It’s feels like the massive majority do not want AI data centers, yet the minority of people in power push for it. It’s a slippery slope when they push and push because eventually the oppressed will snap and take more dramatic measures to force change.

I just hope it stays civil and ideally changed legally through proper systems.

It’s cuz the minority of people are rich and do not care about our slogan “Beautiful British Columbia”. I’m afraid these AI data centres are gonna cause deforestation (through heavy energy usage)
