I'm too stupid to play chess
Just frustrated, I built an 11 point advantage through 50 turns of a game then gave it all away idiotically. I can't win a single game today, it's like I'm an idiot. One step forward three steps back.
Everything starts off easy. Then it goes downhill. Fast. Thats probably where you are now- and That's the point where many people quit, but for the most part anyone who continues will see a marked improvement.
Look, firstly, chess doesn't define intelligence. There have been plenty of smart people who can't play chess to save their lives and plenty of idiots who get to 2000 ratings. If it's any consolation I was probably playing for well over 3 years before getting a rating of 600-700 and it took me not much longer then a year or two to double that.
Keep going, and try up your study time or at least make it more efficient.

Nice Kitty, That's a handsome lad.
I know, I'm used to picking up skills like computer languages, mathematics and other complex things pretty easily- I've always been lucky to have a good brain.
- But this also means when I don't master something quickly I get frustrated as I've not developed my patience in relation to learning. I take losses and blundering pretty hard.
Well keep playing chess and all the best of luck.
Your cat's nice as well. They look pretty similar actually.
instead of pushing them further forwards, you started to make other piece moves which allowed your opponent to get back into the game, which was such a shame, cos you played really well.
Thanks woollen- I am too inconsistent. I have way too many games where I am doing well and then give it away. I start off strong then my late middlegame/early end game ruins it. Need to study more I guess.
Hard work, patience and skill(intelligence) are required to do well in chess.
I have worked hard and I have patience. I lack the intelligence.
No matter how many games I tried, I have not managed to do well. I make the same mistake again and again. With great difficulty I put lichess and chess in my hosts file to prevent myself from wasting a minute more than I need to. I enjoy the game, but being a pathological loser is not fun.
I live better. With my slight intellectual disability, I do fine in other activities in life. Just that chess is not for me.
