It's my understanding that you believe that most chess players have no chance of improving beyond patzer level. How interested would you be interested in seeing counterevidence? I say this knowing that even if it is scientifically possible for most patzers to improve, it generally isn't practical, given the scarcity of resources such as time, money, discipline.
