I purposely make very questionable moves in my game to give myself a challenge to come back from a losing position.  Or that is what I tell myself.

you crushed me in 2 of our games.  I didn't even have a chance.  I find that if I am relaxed about these online games that I do much better.  When playing OTB, you can afford to have 100% concentration on one game.

That is better excuse than what I have been using -- I had the phone upside down and thought I was playing the other side.

I have gotten the move order screwed up, after analyzing many lines of daily chess. Instead of recalculating each time, I tried to play from memory.
