In Checkers you should not resign if you are 2 men down to 3...

For One Man can hide in the double corner while your other man can stay occupying the other double corner. And it takes 2 Men to get out each.

But if you are down 1 Men to 2, you should resign as it takes only 2 to trap the remaining One.

And so if you are down, just one Man in Checkers, in an undecided position you should never resign.

Big difference in Chess, and further proof that Checkers is far simpler.
