The human mass consume these types of images on a regulary basis in magazines, music videos - mindlessly gaping and gawking at them.

well, i hardly watch any music videos or read (fashion) magazines, so i'll exculpate myself for not even having noticed. i think i've never encountered one of those ads you've posted. though of course the "sex sells" marketing device is ubiquitous, and i'm increasingly annoyed by it.
Those ads are not selling sex, Journeyman_Jim...they are selling denigration of and extreme violence against women....
