The Blacksmith was on his break day from guarding. It was late at night and he had roughly 5 hours to go meet with the other man.
He easily managed to slip past the border without being seen and began venturing into neutral territory. Eventually, he reached the point where he had been told to wait. Surprisingly, when he walked inside, the man was already there.
"How did you get here so fast?"
"It's a long story. Doesn't matter yet. Listen, how is the testing going?"
"Good. Neither of them know yet."
"That's good to hear. Very soon, we're gonna have to start this. The men won't wait long you know."
"I have a friend who could be of assistance to us. His name's R00K. You might know him, the other guard. I've hinted the plans for a monarchy overthrowing to him, and he seems supportive."
"We'll have to do better than seems. More importantly though, how could he help us?"
"He has surprisingly decent knowledge of many different languages, probably from his time dealing with war refugees. He could help with communications. I also think there are some of Slash's army soldiers who are loyal to him. They could start the attack."
"That's a good idea. Make sure he is safe though. After all, we are talking about *whisper* revolution."
