internet lag not cheats

on the right of the chess board you will find a rectangle with a colour in it. if you point the mouse on this box it will tell you how good your connection is. if the rectangle is completely covered your connection is good.  if it is less than half full, you have a bad connection which is when all the accusations of cheating arise, where your opponents clock goes down 10 seconds and when you get to move the 10 seconds has been removed from your clock and added to opponents.  this is high internet lag.  just point the mouse at the rectangle and it will tell you this

Please come up with an explanation which isn't as inconvenient to us sore losers.

Now I know why sometimes people ask me why I keep getting more time when I move.
