When it comes to chess.com and having any sort of ranking, I am just an incompetent fool. However, I do love the game and want to learn learn more now that I have some time. blueemu knows what he is talking about, read his posts, they tell it like it is. Chess is a a game of hard work, dedication and practice if you want to get better.

He was kind enough to share his knowledge and experience on reviewing games with me. Much to my surprise I found that those games I won because I thought I was so smart were really just because I have some good habits and, my opponent was quiet illogical in how they played.

Now funny thing about the fellow you would like to call old and senile. To get him to help me, all I had to do was ask.

Is there really anything more you could ask from a player who is much better than you?

I guess the Fisher joke isn't as funny as I thought it would be. I didn't mean to imply the crazy parts of Bobby onto you, Blue Emu, just the fact that you are an excellent Chess player. If he wasn't in your life you may have gotten the Chess karma and not his crazy rhetoric. I managed to avoid becoming as prejudiced as my old man because I only saw him in the summer times. So much for International humor about Bobby Fisher. He's a pretty sad figure in the end.

I have noticed that blue emu has played exactly zero games of live chess. He only plays daily chess, I only play live chess.
