It's a slippery slope, mil!
Is Chess Bad for your Brain?

So, are you saying here that this imaginary "eagle" could swoop down and "rescue me" from this imaginary "slippery slope" that you say I'd be on if I were to start, somehow, erasing my "chess memories," so that I could, supposedly, have more available "space" in my brain in which I could, presumably, store a whole new bunch of memories of "insights from the forums?"
I see. So this, then, would be an example of an "insight from the forums."
... perhaps I'll rethink my plan ....... I don't know ..... you've certainly given me a lot to think about ....

First time that's happened. I think you've been playing too much chess.

I have dialogue from lots of movies memorized in my brain. I wish I could swap some of those out for memorized Nimzo-Indian opening sequences.
Imagine all the free space if all the chess memories were removed from your brain
Dr Spudnik posits that the resulting "free space" might constitute "a vast wasteland" --- This is clearly a discussion of Deep neurological puzzles!
!--- which suggests that "chess forums" are a potential source of intellectual stimulation of which I was hitherto unaware! So I'm re-evaluating my previous priorities: I'll now try to eliminate the tiny bit of my "brain space" devoted to chess knowledge, and start filling this space with Insights from the Forums!!
