Is Chess Bad for your Brain?

(tried to post pic of "Abby Normal" brain in jar, but computer skills not up to task -- not a sign of brain deterioration -- never had computer skills even before playing chess online ....)

IMO, chess is good for my brain but bad for my legs. I've quitted otb chess 20 years ago as my legs gets paralyzed after a tense game.

Not another bloody thing thats "bad for mybrain". Everything -anything- I like and it's gotta be bad for my bloody brain!!

Mother-in-law, see post #97.
I saw it. And I'd forgotten it was posted in This forum. And that was only Three weeks ago! "Your Honor, I submit this evidence of chess-induced brain damage as Exhibit Number Something, and the State rests its case."

The threads do blur together. But back to the OP, I think 23... Bd5 is the best option.

So if i lose a lot, that must be good for my brain?
If you have to ask, perhaps there has already been some brain da --- never mind, Victor. You're probably right -- would you like to check out your theory by losing a game to me? .... never mind again ... I just compared our ratings, and see you'd have a really hard time losing to me ..... ...

You say mother-in-law, I read mate-in-two
! Oh, come now, I'm not That bad! Sometimes I'm Good ...
...

You should address your stress by creating a mess, making progress, having sucess on the chess board while wearing a dress in excess.

I haven't looked at this for a few weeks, and I'm not totally sure what has happened here. You lot must have been playing too much chess. Where has Jack and Jill come from?

I believe they came up from the bottom of the hill.
Good answer!! At least Your brain is still ... cribbley? ...... no, that's not it .... foopy? ..... no ........ Good! That's it! Good! !

What next then? Humpty Dumpty?
No need to discuss him here: Ricky Gervais (on YouTube) has already delivered the definitive critique of Humpty Dumpty (e.g., "--- if your last name is "Dumpty," and your child turns out to be an Egg, Don't give "Humpty" as a first name! Name him "John" or something......)
So does the forum have hippopompous skrimps?
